Heartwood Lodge presents “Somnium: Treasures of the Mind, A Ritual Hypnosis Experience" featuring lead hypnotist Woodruff Boero. Woodruff, a certified Master Hypnotist and member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, graduated from Cascade Hypnosis Center in Bellingham. He holds certifications in 5-PATH Hypnosis, 7th-Path Self-Hypnosis from the Banyan Institute, and Neo-Ericksonian hypnosis from the Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy in Toronto. Woodruff graduated from Millikin University with a BA in Philosophy and continues to harbor a fondness for the esoteric, the existential, and the metaphysical. Inspired by the fearsome majesty of wild spaces and the warmth of a thousand sacred campfires Woodruff brings his experience working in wilderness therapy as well as decades of writing and running role-playing adventure games to the stage. A lifelong lover of mythology and fantastic stories, he believes in the power of creative play to heal the spirit, strengthen the mind, and inspire a life of kindness and courage. Outside this work, he enjoys writing music and spending time with his wife, son, and two energetic Texas Heeler pups. Woodruff is a registered Recreational Therapist and Hypnotherapist in Washington.
