Sabu - Drumming together on the beaches of San Juan Island for nearly twenty years, Sabu performs traditional Malinke rhythms from West Africa. Their sound is made up of Maninka vocals, lead and support djembes, three dun duns and a handmade gourd shekere. Dancing is welcome and feeds the energy of the drummers! Group members are Beau Borrero, Jason Holden, Jonathan Quigley, Ifatolu Derek Learned, Credence & Islay Ross, and Eben Shay.
