*The Fairgrounds property is not zoned nor equipped for long-term RV camping/temporary housing. The maximum stay on grounds for recreational camping (regardless of campsite #) is 10 days within a 30 day period.*
Reservations:
RV camping reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak season (May-September).
Simply make an on-line reservation (SYSTEM OPEN: March 1st, 2024) via the San Juan County Parks' reservation website

If requesting a reservation within 3 days of arrival date OR during the online reservation system off-season, all non-reserved sites are available on a first come, first serve. Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance online, starting from first night of stay (Find the day to make your reservation by using a
date calculator
).10 day maximum stay within a 30 day period.
Amenities

8 RV Pedestals
Water and electric hook-ups (20/30AMP plug-ins)
Restrooms (open seasonally May-October)
Semi-level sites (site 1 is paved for ADA accessibility; sites 2-7 have compacted gravel; site 8 has grass), please bring levelers
NO sewer hook-ups
Campfire & Pet Regulations
: There are designated campfire rings at the Fairgrounds RV sites 1-8. Self-contained cooking units with propane are allowed. Dogs are welcomed, please remember to keep dogs on leash while on Fairgrounds property per San Juan County code. There are two dog waste receptacles (with bags) located on the property, please utilize them while walking the grounds--Thanks!

Please read signage on picnic area shelter regarding payment as a Drop-In camper or call the Parks and Fair office.

: Parks & Fairgrounds Staff is in the office Monday through Friday and are happy to answer any RV questions you might have regarding reservations or "drop-in" camping. Please call (360)378-8420.
*The San Juan County Fair is August 16-19, 2023, Reservations will NOT be taken for RVs during our Fair week.

Camping for Large Groups
(Larger than 9): The San Juan County Fairgrounds offers year round tent camping (not available surrounding the week of the County Fair --mid August--) for organizations, family & friend groups and approved private events. If your group is interested in camping at the fairgrounds, please inquire with the Parks and Fair Office by emailing parks@sanjuanco.com or call the office directly at (360)378-8420.
Tent Camping (individual non-group)
Looking to Tent Camp?
Per the Fairgrounds' zoning overlay, the Fairgrounds is not available to individual tent campers for reservation or drop-in. Please call the Park & Fairgrounds Administrative Office to inquire about tent camping at our county parks. Parks & Fair Admin Office: (360)378-8420. Visit our our county parks campgrounds
